With this function, it is possible to replenish pick locations in a timely manner from bulk locations using the previously marked safety stock. This safety stock works per SKU and can be set manually in our WMS. When the stock level of a specific SKU reaches the safety level, a replenish order will be generated in the hand scanner.
Activating the ‘replenish‘ function
This function can be activated by completing the following steps:
- In GoMonta, go to inventory management settings;
- Activate the function called: ‘Optimise stock with hand scanners‘.
Setting the safety stock levels
There are two ways to set safety stock levels for specific SKUs:

After completing these steps, replenish orders will be automatically generated once the stock levels at manually accessible locations drop below the pre-set value. These replenish orders can be found in the hand scanner under the green button, ‘optimise stock‘ and then under, ‘replenish stock‘.
