Picking from non-manually accessible locations

Non-manually accessible locations

By default, it is not possible to pick orders from locations that are not manually accessible. Before these orders can be picked, the stock must first be replenished to locations that are manually accessible. A warehouse’s settings can be changed to allow orders to be picked from locations that are not manually accessible. In that case, there is no need to replenish stock before shipping orders that must be picked from locations which are not manually accessible.

If this setting is changed, orders can be picked with an option in the scanner. It is also possible to allow non-manually accessible orders to be picked alongside manually accessible orders.

Confirming a picking action
To confirm a picking action, a product’s barcode must be scanned. This is not possible for some products. Instead, the option to confirm a picking action by scanning the location can be activated for specific products.
