What is the outbound process?

Outbound refers to shipping goods from your warehouse. Orders can be created in several ways:

• Via a link with a webshop, marketplace or other client system
• Created manually in the MontaPortal
• Via an Excel import to the MontaPortal
• In GoMonta when clearing out locations

Types of orders

B2B
An order can be marked as B2B (business to business). Certain settings, such as the shipper matrix and the layout of packing slips, may be different for B2B orders. Different sales rates can also be set.

Value added logistics
Also known as packaging orders. It is for stock that must be deducted, e.g. to be packaged or repackaged.

Quarantine orders
Orders to deduct quarantine stock.
