WMS Hardware
In addition to our software, we also manufacture, supply and maintain a range of hardware systems. This hardware is in daily use at various Monta branches to make the picking process even more efficient. Our R&D department is continuously working on further optimising and expanding these hardware systems.
What is WMS hardware?
WMS hardware and software work hand in hand. All warehouse processes are controlled by the software. Orders from the WMS arrive on the hardware, which then guides employees through the process. There is also the option to record employees’ actions, and to update orders and stock levels in real-time, thanks to WMS hardware. Examples of hardware systems in a warehouse are: hand scanners, barcode scanners, Put to Light systems, printers and packing tables.

Which WMS hardware systems can we supply?
Each warehouse has different requirements, and each process requires its own technology. Thanks to our smart hardware, your staff is ideally equipped to carry out their tasks efficiently. Does your employee use a trolley in the order picking area? Do they replenish the picking locations? Or are they on the inbound floor checking incoming goods? MontaWMS supplies the right hardware for every employee. Benefits of our hardware systems
Smart integration with (existing) business applications
Integrates with our Android software; including maintenance and updates
Continuously developing for more than 20 years
Automation is the future
Our software and hardware solutions make the work easier, more enjoyable and quicker for your warehouse employees. Our goal is to minimise the burden on your warehouse staff, while increasing efficiency. This is where automation plays a major role. Our own warehouses use automatic packing machines that handle the entire packing process.

Barcode scanner
For inbound and outbound we use one Zebra LI4278 per workstation. This handheld scanner works via bluetooth. It comes with a base station and a USB connection cable.

Label printer
We also use the Zebra ZD420D thermal label printer. This versatile 4-inch label printer is durable and has above-average performance features.

Computer
or workstations, you can use an OptiPlex 3080 MFF or similar Windows station.

Touchscreen
We use the iiyama ProLite T2235MSC-B1 touchscreen. This is a 21.5″ monitor with a completely flat edge-to-edge display.

Etiketten
The labels below are created via NoviPrint. There are two different formats (article code E100150102NH01 and E080035102NM01). One for the shipping label, and one for the link label to move inbound products to a stock location.

Orderpick scanner
We supply the orderpick scanner. This is a Newland orderpick scanner which has Android software installed. Our apps are always supplied with maintenance and updates included.

Roll containers for bulk picking
To be able to pick even faster, it’s handy to have large roll containers in the warehouse. We use roll containers by Engels Logistiek.

Bin racks / small crates
Engels Logistiek also supplies our bin racks and small crates. These crates are ideal for bulk picking.

Work tables
In addition, we can supply height-adjustable work tables, painted in any RAL colour:

Put to light
The Put To Light is used to sort products that have been picked in a random sequence in a bulk trolley into (M) orders. The process is started by scanning a bulk pick trolley and then linking blue crates to the locations in the Put To Light, which can be done by scanning the crate’s barcode and pressing the button where the crate is located.

Pick to light
Pick To Light is a system that we use in order to pick orders without having to do a lot of scanning with the scan gun.
Picking is done by scanning a crate in which the order is going to be placed. The number of items to be picked is illuminated below. Once the products have been picked from the correct box, pressing the button next to the box indicates that picking was successful.
Carriers, marketplaces and various
webshop systems can be directly linked
Even outside the Netherlands, we can link to carriers and various marketplaces to optimise your logistics process throughout Europe and beyond.
Rapid launch
Depending on the project, MontaWMS can be operational in your warehouse within a few weeks.
Save costs
Save on costs by organising your warehouse more efficiently with our walking paths.
Employee satisfaction
Working with our WMS system makes for happier employees, which leads to greatly increased job satisfaction!
Robotic systems
Other robotic systems, such as robot platforms, make products come to you. This system is called the ‘Goods-to-Person system’. Order pickers no longer need to be in the warehouse to pick products. Robots fetch the products. This means less walking with faster and increased order processing.
