What is the inbound process?

Inbound refers to goods that are delivered to your warehouse. The flowchart below illustrates the inbound process for MontaWMS. Before a product can be added to the WMS, the right product information must be entered into the system. At minimum, this product information consists of an SKU, a description and one barcode. Product information can be added to the system in the following three ways:

• Automatically via a link
• Manually via the MontaPortal Import multiple products at once via an Excel import
• Manually enter products one at a time via the MontaPortal
